Baby B turns 6 months!

Baby B, my first newborn client has just turned 6 months old and 

boy-o-boy is she a beauty!

She was very cooperative with all of my posing requests and outfit changes....

 

 

 She even put up with the pokey Wisconsin grass we have right now...

AND was never short on smiles!

She gives attitude a new name! LOVE this sassy pose she gave me without request!

 This special family let me photograph them on a gorgeous Saturday morning.

The kids were smilin....

They  had time to relax with daddy....

And snuggle with mom! 

Even mom and dad had some special time!

Senior Citizens

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of two of my favorite Seniors...okay, okay.... so they just finished their first year in college!

My youngest brother and youngest cousin knew  I needed some models so they were gracious enough to pose for me!

They did great and I am so happy that they turned out nice for a spur of the moment photo shoot!

Don't Burst My Bubble!

April was cousin month in our house. With family in town from London, England and Southern Illinois, we spent a lot of time hanging out together. Check out these cuties!!

My Boys...

 One of the hardest gigs I have had is photographing my own children. I find that unlike other peoples children who stare at me with a stone face or cry like a banshie, my children ignore that I am trying to snap a few shots.

I think the fact that I have been in their faces with cameras since the day they were born and now they just think it's an extension of my nose.

 Despite their reluctance to smile big and pose, I did get a few good shots that show their true personalities!  Hayden (3) is much more receptive to my requests for smiles and eye contact than Wyatt (1.5), but they did okay!
